Recently through our education initiatives we have reached many small remote villages near the Hiiraan region spreading awareness of the deadly disease in their midst and the measures they can take to protect themselves. We focused on those nearer large stagnant bodies of water. We also provided training to local health officials to take the fight against Malaria to the next level!
